Therapies We Use

At Emery Physical Therapy we augment manual therapy with modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, cryotherapy and other evidence-based therapies.

The relief and rehabilitation of patients suffering from back pain is a continual focus of our team of professionals at Emery Physical Therapy.  Physical therapy may be highly effective in relieving back pain and restoring normal function and movement.

How We Treat Back Pain?

We treat patients with all variations of back pain, as well as those who are utterly debilitated with it.

We specialize in back pain and provide each patient with a thorough assessment to ensure that we are not just treating their symptoms of pain but are addressing the root cause.

We then focus on relieving the pain and inflammation and chart a customised course of physical therapy to solve the immediate issue, and then focus on preventing the problem from recurring.

"I've been in physical therapy with Phil 4 times over several years with back, neck and shoulder issues. The home programs set me up for a speedier recovery and continuation of those have allowed me to build up the strength and stretching properly so I would not have to see him. I was in a pain clinic and now have no need for shots or drugs on a regular basis due to his expert care and attention to detail as well as listening to my stories." *
